My ex (24m) keeps reaching out to me (25f) even though we broke up in July. We still talked off and on until early November when I told him I didn’t want to communicate anymore for the sake of moving on. He accused me of seeing someone else, which even if I was it wouldn’t matter, but I wasn’t at the time.
Well I ran into him a couple weeks ago & we talked briefly but that was all. Now he’s been texting me asking to get coffee or take the dogs to play. I started talking to a new guy (24m) a couple weeks ago as well & things are going amazingly well! We have talked about how I’m still fairly fresh out of LTR and I don’t want him to feel like a rebound, because he absolutely isn’t one as I’d been checked out of my prior relationship for a long time before I officially ended things.
I’m so scared of the new guy seeing my ex text me, even though I don’t respond, and have him think we still talk. Can I tell me ex that I’m seeing someone new and I don’t want him to contact me anymore?
