Would any guys here like if their girlfriend crocheted them a scarf for a gift. I'm trying to make my boyfriend a blue and black one (he's a cop so I wanted to use those 2 colors) for his birthday. I'm not very good yet so I know it'll be a little weird and maybe not always even but I'm trying my best. Would any men here care if their girlfriends did this and the scarf wasn't perfect or was a little ugly?
m Not the same situation but I think it shows the same kind of answer. My mom made me a scarf and two hats last year for my birthday. I loved it!
My fiance said to me in private (so not at all in my moms vicinity) early this year, that he really loved the scarf and though about buying a similar one. So thats when I told my mom and tried the whole year to prevent him from buying one which was easy in summer.😅
I got him to only buy a cheap one that just helped him until Christmas. At Christmas he received his scarf and a fitting beanie hat, from all I know he loved it too. Proudly wearing them to friends and his family meetings for Christmas.
I suggest making it and see how it turns out. If you're happy with it, give it to him. If not, give it to a homeless person and use it as a learning experience so the next one will be better.
