I like this girl at work. We work in the same department. We've hung out a few times, got drinks after work. She's funny when drunk and flirty but also, quite older (like 10 years older than me). I want to ask her out.
BUT... she CONSTANTLY talks about this married guy she's friends with. He's about the same age as her. They buy and make things for each other, he knows her schedules, takes her out to do things with him; he is the first to know of all her personal issues. One day I offered to drive her to the airport for an upcoming trip. I was peeved to know she only asks him.
This married guy is like her main go-to for everything in her life. She even mentioned he keeps keys to her house. She tells me it's no "big deal" and she's cool with his wife.
Like, I'm torn- is this guy just her friend? Or is this a major RED flag?
