Why would he delete his IG account?

We’ve been friends with benefits for a while. But we do dating type of stuff. Cuddle, eat and watch movies. Talk about life and etc. we both talk to other people but I found out he lied about wanting relationships with other girls. Once I confronted him about it he totally ghost me. We talked every day. He also deleted his IG which is weird since I don’t even follow him or him follow me. We’ve been talking for 2 years so this is hard for me to not get an explanation or anything. Why are guys like this?

but why would confront him about it? did you want something more with him? or did you assume he lied to you to get with you and you are mad about it?

Yes my friend looked up his account and it’s still deactivated.

Okay. Well if he deleted his IG, then why make it about you by saying it’s weird since you don’t follow each other? There could be a number of reasons on his end, but one thing is for sure and its that you aren’t helping yourself by still hanging on. 2 years means nothing when he couldn’t end it formally and instead went ghost. He could’ve at least given closure if he cared, but no. You haven’t even heard a word from him since all this. I’d say it’s better to move on, you can do better than being available for casual sex whenever he comes knocking.
