How to make the first kiss with your boyfriend or girlfriend memorable?

I've been in my first relationship for 4 months and we haven't kiss as yet. I'm still really nervous when it comes to romance but he understands and is waiting until I'm ready to tell him that I'm ready. We were friends before we started dating, so we know eachother very well. But, now, I think I'm ready to have my first kiss with him.

I don't know how to set the mood to do it with him. So I'm asking for ideas on how to make the mood calm, fun, and memorable. I Google kissing so I understand how to do it a little, and I'm going to try to do it properly but I might not be good at first.

I will be very nervous but I will try to ask him if we can practise kissing sometimes.

The only way to ruin a kiss is to try. If you want to be kissed, make it easy for him. Get close enough for him to kiss you by tilting his head. He should get the message. Or just ask him to kiss you.

We accustom to being together as just friends. So now that we are in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship, we still hangout a lot with eachother. Should I lean closer slowly or just caught him by surprise?

Practice kissing before your first kiss? But, then, it would not be your "first kiss", by definition. I can't help but to be a bit confused, here.

Almost all of the time, it will just fall into place. Don't worry about it.

My younger daughter and son-in-law vowed not to kiss until they were married. They hugged, help hands, but no kissy! It worked for them. Extreme? Possibly - they just wanted to be sure their connection wasn't based on the physical side of life.

Hey - works for me - practice makes perfect. If you remember to each tilt your head in the same direction relative to each person, ie each tilt to THEIR right, and then tilt forward a bit, should be easy peasy.
