Was I wrong to expect my boyfriend that stays with me, that had my car to come pick me up from the airport?

So I went on a business trip for 2 days. My boyfriend dropped me off at the airport with my car. We had spoken about my trip and agreed that he will take me to the airport and also pick me up. On the day of my return I sent him a message of my arrival time. He said he will be at the gym that time. I ask him how will I get home since he drove me to the airport with my car. I also have nobody else to ask to pick me up. I did not understand why would he choose gym over picking me up from the airport. I stay in a small town, so was coming back with the last flight, I was going to be left stranded at a closed airport, I explained this to him. He said nothing, I get to airport hoping it was a prank I don’t find him there. I call him he says ask someone for a lift I’m at the gym. After a long argument and me waiting outside a closed airport he comes to pick me up driving my car. His friend was in the passenger sit none of them came out to help me with my bag until I asked him too. I felt like a fool the whole way sitting in the back seat of my own car. When we got home he wanted to talk to me like there was nothing wrong. I was too angry to even say a word to him. I am still so angry and confused. please someone shed some light, was I wrong to expect my boyfriend that stays with me, that had my car to come pick me up from the airport?

No you’re not wrong to feel that way. As a matter of fact if you’re still w him you need to dump him. Period. That is a lack of respect for you to not pick you up w your own car. Which you probably let him use while you were gone. He wasn’t concerned about your safety that’s for sure. Too also show up w someone else in your ride, then having you sit in the back. No way. Have respect for yourself. This dude will do this again. I’m sure he knew about this trip more than a few days in advance. Why could t he go to the gym earlier or not at all. You need to move on w out him. If you don’t then expect to be disappointed over and over again.

The sad part is that he went earlier than he normally does hence I thought he is probably pranking me when he says he can't come because of gym 👀… Your right this just shows how much he does not value me I need to value myself and remove myself from this.
