Why is it that taller women are more likely to date shorter men and short girls aren’t?

I never see short couples why is that? Do the less desirable go for the less desirable? Are there insecurity reasons? Are short people just meant to be with tall people? Why do i always see extremely tall guys go for extremely small girls? Why don’t the shorts go for the shorts, average go for average and tall go for tall?

Many different scenarios. Some short women don't like short men. Short women don't want short kids. Short men aren't common. The first two I would say are unlikely. The last scenario is likely. Most men aren't short in White dominated countries so it is likely that short women won't be with short guys mostly because of statistics. However if you look at the whole entire continents of Asia and South America there are a TON of short women with short men. More than half of the world comprises of those areas. Also i see short Hispanic women with short Hispanic men all the time they are mostly short. I think it really is a numbers thing.

There's more short women with short men in actuality than other men if you take the whole populations of South America and Asia. Asia also has the biggest populations. Average for Indian women is 5'0 and for men it is 5'5. In China women are average height at about 5'1/5'2 and men are 5'6/5'7 and these are two of the most populated countries in the world.

Like i said, the average height of men is 5'9 so that means that not many men are short. It is very likely that short women won't be with men that are short because of statistics. It's really just that simple. I'm 5'4 as a guy and I don't see many men that are short.

It's probably cultural, if your in a country where being petite is ranked higher than tall for women. Then they are at higher on demand and don't need to settle with short guys, while tall girls is having fewer options and might have to. Here in sweden it's the reverse, the tiny women are the leftovers, not the tall, aslong as they remain feminine that is. No one wants a masculine woman.

I don't believe it has to do with women but men. Most men aren't short so inevitably women will most likely not be with short men. But Asia and South America there are many many short women with short men. It's a population thing. India and China average height is short for both men and women. These two countries are heavily populated. Numerous short women with short men in these areas. If a lot of men were short in some other countries there for sure would be more short women with short men. For instance in the USA many men are not short so the likelihood of short women being with average height men is higher. But living in the USA Latinos and Latinas are short, seen many short couples in this ethnic background as they usually date within their own race. It's really a numbers thing

Depends on country. in my opinion anything 3 inches moore or less above or below average height is short

I can't speak for anyone but myself. Short women tend to put in more effort towards me than tall girls. I'm 6'5" and I've been attracted to women ranging from 4'11 to 6'8". But the shorter women typically make much more effort towards me. It's really just that simple.

I don't have one. I just said I've been attracted to women from 4'11 to 6'8". But i am turned off by women that say they won't date a man under 6 feet. Because then I feel like she's dating me for my height and that's a turnoff.

I am 5'11", so less than 6'0", tall women was showing interest in me, if I was taller then I would had felt better around them, men are on average 5 inches taller than women.

My roommate in college had short parents. Maybe it is a generational thing.
