Would you approach him?

There is a guy I am crushing on for over a year. We have never talked together. He is four years older than me and until now there was no place where we could meet. I always only saw him in church and when he played soccer. Now when we often meet at the same place I’d like him to notice me and get to know each other. He is friend with my best friend, they know each other from when they were younger cuz they families are friends. So she went to test waters. I mean like talk to him cuz they didn't talk for a long time and she said he was really fine, funny and nice. I dont expect him much to approach me first cuz he id always busy with his friends
