Do girls take a guy being quiet around them as rejection if they like that guy?

I can’t really tell if this girl likes me. Also I’m horrible with telling if a girl likes me lol but I’m trying to politely say no without saying no if that makes sense. I like her but I’ve learned that not all work relationships go well. My last one ruined work completely. But she seems really really nice so I don’t want to be a complete jerk and say no at work in front of everyone. I’m not even mean like that like that’s a bully type of mean. But what should I do?

Seeing her and going the opposite direction is about the only way to do this quietly.-This is offensive so if you are trying to avoid her feeling pain then this is not the best way. No emotion is probably best way to get her to vanish on her on.
