Should I do my hair like this for a first date? Yes or no?

I'm glad to have naturally straight hair over curly (it's more maintenance), but at the same time I do feel more me when my hair is curled some way rather than just laid flat. Especially smaller curls, those are so cute! 😻

I've noticed many guys these days seem to prefer straight hair over curly/wavy (I always thought it's the other way around, strange), thus I do not know if it's a good idea to go with my plan.

It supposed to be a casual (first official) date so I thought curling my hair would make it look a bit more special, it would show that I have put some effort to look nice for him.

To be perfectly honest with you guys are not going to care about your hair he will say its nice however its done, he's more interested on what or who is on the inside, your looks are not whats important they change over time so they become irrelevant if you rally want to impress him focus on being the girl he wants to bring home to meet his mother/family

My only suggestion is do your hair in the way that you think it best complements you. And that you feel great about it -- feeling great about it will give you confidence and confidence will relax you and give you a great date.
