Do you think that only women want their partners to have a good job or high salary? Do men also want such a thing while looking for a relationship? (Page 2)
No not only women, like my ex wanted someone with a fancy high paying job but if I'm being honest he was quite feminine so I guess that's an interesting observation. Personally, I don't mind paying 50-50 but I refuse to provide for a man.
Me personally I don’t care both the same for me, but I also personally know some guys that based their decision to be with a woman primarily on her career and how much she makes.
in general, no, most guys dont care so much about her income amount as more often than not, her money will not be part of the pool of resources for bills etc.
though personally i preffer her to be employeed (at least when we 1st meet) so i can use that as a wsy to. guage some personality traits and with this mordern, overpriced world we live in to hopefully contradict my early statement about pool of resources for bill etc. by helping out at times.
Yes a lot of them do. I’ve had men reject me when they found out what I did for a living (a normal job paying average salary but one that’s not a career job or requiring a university degree).
I think most people (of both genders) want to be with someone who has the financial means to take care of themself. I think it just varies on the actual level of income that people are looking for.
Smart and good looking/sexy. Job/money are not difficult to get for healthy brainy people.

Guys (good ones anyhow). Are less concerned with how much she makes and more concerned with her spending habits. If she got caviat taste then she better have a good paying job.

I have a man who is perfect in my eyes. He does all the dirty work at home and not get pay enough.

reliability and self-sufficiency do matter to me... yes
it speaks volumes...
No men will not look at a woman economy but we certainly looks at her spending habits.

Men are more romantically oriented when it comes to dating.
We have to. Humankind would go extinct if men would start acting equally picky.
I actively despise people who think you can convert love into fucking dollar signs.
I don't care about my lover's income so long as she can pay her half of the bills.
generally speaking: for men, having a high income is a very low priority when looking for a date.
Nope I ain't shallow plus I can earn my own money and I want my future girl to also be like me she works for her own money
No, and no. Relationships need way more than just income.
I just wanted to find somebody that had a fulfilling career. The money part was never a question.
Hell ya, I want her to make at least 200k so that I can retire early.
It certainly seems that way, that women look more at a man's assets than a man looks at a woman's.
No men in general don't care about a women's career.

I'm the exception to say more money is almost always better regardless of gender and age.
