My boyfriend doesn’t communicate about his relationship with his BM?

For the first two years of our relationship my boyfriend was a single dad with some help from his bm on & off. Once his bm found out about me she’d help 0% of the time. & that became an issue in our relationship because we couldn’t spend any qt together & I felt like a baby sitter. I do love the kids but I need time for my partner & I to date before I committed to the step parent role. We’d get no quality time & I was watching the kids primarily so he could work. There’s been a lot of back & forth between her & I. Now we’re going on year 3 & the kids have been staying with their mom for the past 3 weeks. I don't know what transpired & would like to know what brought on the change. Like are thing going to continue moving forward. But he seems hesitant to answer any questions concerning her & the kids. What should I do?

Like, if he can’t stand up to his baby mama ……? And if he can’t advocate for you……?

At least : if I was dating a girl and her BD got in the way and acted like a dick?

I’d only tolerate that shit for as long as the sex was good.

And even that gets boring after a time.

sorry this is just what people who date people with kids will have to deal with. if you can't handle it, i'd find someone else. besides the fact that your boyfriend has a problem with communication i just don't see how this can work out. you should just leave him.
