It's not racist to have a racial preference for dating if you like the way certain races look. Can everyone agree on that?

If you have a preference for pale skin or dark skin you would obviously have a racial preference. Has nothing to do with being racist as you could be friends with people of every race, but just not want to date them.

But for some reason everyone accuses me of being racist because I don't like black hair. So what? Some people do like that hair and some don't. Some people don't like blondes, but that doesn't make them racist towards Europeans.

Preferences are ok, but they should not go to the exclusion of entire races.

I think a man should be prepared to throw his preferences overboard when he meets a special woman, regardless of he ethnic background.

It's also not racist to have a racial preference for dating a particular ethnicity. For example, you may be Dutch and you may like someone that is white and likes Dutch culture like you.

I agree! You can have racial preferences without being a racist. As for me as a white man, I’m only interested in dating white women. If I’m still considered to be a racist, so be it. I never found dark skin attractive but that doesn’t mean I hate all dark skinned people. I just have no interest in interracial dating or dating a woman with dark skin.

You have the right to date who you want. You don’t have to date outside your preferences or racial preferences to prove you’re not a racist.

Bottom line is having a racial preference isn’t racist at all.

Well it's might not be racist but it's still shallow if you actually don't date other races. Preferences doesn't have to exclude lesser candidates. So they should only matter if you got multiple options.

Preferring one thing does not mean neglecting the rest. I would happily marry a woman of any race despite my visual preferences. Looks aren’t what’s most important to me.
