So I need some help here. I met this girl last year a pride event. Her bro is gay and runs all the pride events. We added each other on FB that night. Yesterday at Pride she said to me Hey long time no see how you been? I said I been good how about you I was gonna hit you up on FB a while back but I forgot to bc we live in the same town and have some things in common and wanted to hang out. She said "hey feel free anytime hit me up. "Also stop by my stand later I'm at Pride Central." and we were talking about the new Flash movie and all which I'm kinda into. So I have an extra ticket as my BFF was supposed to go with me but her out of state boyfriend is coming into town. I wanted to invite her but I don't want her to think I'm trying to take her out on a date as I am a gay girl. 30 she's 28. Not to mention last year when we met her at the time boyfriend made a joke about us making out. I said that's disgusting why would I wanna hook up with someone's else girl? He smiled and said I'm kidding. She then said oh yeah he would like to see that. So is it a good idea to invite her to the movies with me as she's okay with gays but I don't want her to mistake it.

Just have fun and take it easy. If she thinks it's a date and starts wanting to make out with you or something in the movie you can tell her that's not what you intended. Same for me if I invite gay guy to join me to watch movie and he starts touching my leg or wanting to kiss me or something. I say, "I didn't mean to lead you on but I just wanted to hang out and have fun. Let's be friends."
