Guy who I’m interested in is using his own money to fly to see me from his state. He will stay at my place for a few days and is sharing his time, energy, and money with me. He also bought us tickets to see an art show while he’s in town, and said he made reservations at my favorite restaurant one night (so I assume he’s paying for that).
So all that is a big deal, but I’ve never had a man stay with me so I don’t know who pays for things and I don’t want him to feel like he has to pay for everything.
I’ll cook and buy all the food and drinks for our meals at home, and I’ll pay for my cars gas for day trips. Should he pay for all our “out” meals/drinks, or should I offer to split the bill every time? If the latter, how do I offer without making him feel bad or like I think he can’t afford it?
