Why do women assume short men will have short sons?

Every short man I know that is married to women that aren't even tall and all average height or lower have sons that are average height or taller at least 5'8. My uncle is my height at 5'4 and his wife is 5'1 or 5'2 and their son is 5'11. I also have relatives on my fathers side. The dad is like 5'0 and his wife is even shorter than him. Both of their sons are 5'9 to 5'11. My brother in laws dad is like 5'3 to 5'5 and his mom is like 5'0. He's 5'8. I know of two other men that are 5'5/5'6. Both their sons are also 5'9 to 5'11. All the short men that I know of including these short men themselves have short mothers. Surprise, not really. My mother and father passed away. My mother was 4'10 and my father was 5'7. If my mother was at least 5'0 or even ideally 5'2+, I could've been much taller.

tall men don't have tall sons either. tallness is actually a recessive trait and shortness is a dominant trait and there's lots of short women out there who are more responsible for creating short kids

Yeah that might explain why the entire continents of Asia and South America have short men. I heard the sons height comes from the mother the most which could explain why there's more shorter men as most women are hardly that much above 5'5

Yeah women are gonna have to look hard to find good looking tall men. Not only are good looking people not common but tall men as well. Probably less than 5% of tall men are actually very good looking

Short height is likely to come from genes and the assumption from women is that short man = short kids. Short women are the ones that actually practice this the most. Average height and taller women don't care cause it's likely they carry genes for average height and taller children, but not always. I find that usually short parents have taller sons the next generation. Some cases like me for instance it doesn't happen, but of the short parents that I do know none of their sons are short

One of the reasons short men exist is because of short women. So short women actively avoiding having short sons are actually probably going to have short men in their lineage anyway even if it skips generations. Won't work

If thats what's she is attracted to yes the issue is many women just don't see shorter men as attractive or more so see it less attractive but no I don't believe they go I will not date this person because my kids will be short

Women usually like average height or taller don't have that mindset as much as short women because short women think short man + short woman = short kids. If they're insecure as hell and find flaws in shortness in kids they'll literally find the tallest guy possible to somehow breed out the shortness. It sounds so stupid but it does happen. It's also in studies that tall men immediately signifiy good genetics in their physical appearance and there are women that want their son to inherit these traits. Its likely that short men don't have the genes to pass these traits on.

OK so u have pointed out short insecure women but claimed its women that think like this and that statistically tallness is seen as a better trait which yes is true but that comes equally down to the direct link of them being more attracted to taller guys

Tall men are still only 15% of the population. Despite tall men having the ideal traits, it is almost impossible to increase the population of tall men. If women really want tall sons then they will selectively have to breed only with very tall men to assure this chance. Most women aren't tall either. So this tall preference women have probably won't be at its best until the next millennium or in the year 4000 when tall men can progressively dominate the population in the whole world

Again most women don't date tall guys because they want tall sons lol they tend to be more attracted to taller men that don't mean it's somthing all women follow or that shorter guys don't get women
