Why do people always complain about lack of success in dating if they can just give up?

I told a guy that i want to accomplish my dream of being a weight lifter and body builder. He told me that no man would ever go out with me if i looked like a body builder. I told him no man ever hits on me anyways. I have no success with guys either and im ready to give up. Many of you men think all of us girls have numbers handed to us, we dont. I have nothing to lose by becoming a body builder. Learn to be happy by yourself and you will never need anyone else

Like yourself, I gave up on dating years ago: I've never been happier. No drama, no worrying if I'm good enough, being cheated or lied to, or stressing over my looks.

Unpopular opinion: not everyone will wind up married or in a relationship, and some people have bad luck with dating... no matter how "good" of a person or catch they are. And that's okay.
Rather than stress over dating, I focus on myself and goals instead.

Lots of guys will focus on one girl and when she rejects they will spend time lamenting it. Others try a few times and get angry and it shows, so the women they approach recoil. Really all they need to do is realize not everyone is for everyone, so if she says "No." you smile, wish her well - NOT SARCASTICALLY - and move onto the next one.
