I am from a Transcontinental country between Eastern Europe and Western Asia, It’s in Caucasia, and we identify as Eastern Europeans.

But I think maybe I have some very distant Asian ancestors. Because of my location, it’s natural people would mix, so I might carry little percentage of Asian genes, which I am not aware of.

I am in Asia and here I have the palest skin, I’ve definitely not met anyone with a similar skin tone. In my country, I fit in more.

But I have very small hands and feet and in my country, I was always considered petite.

In China, I am normal, girls here have the same size hands and feet. So I guess I might carry some genes, which I am not aware of.

I’ve been told I look Greek, Spanish, French, Half Japanese, half-Chinese. Depends on the style and make up. I guess I am a mix of lots of things but I am Georgian (little country in Eastern Europe, that also partially falls in Western Asia)

Apart from that, I was Vice President of one of the famous European Organizations (which I’ll not name to protect my privacy) with only European member states, having 45 member countries. My country being one of it.

I just haven’t heard anyone mention my country’s name next to those Central European countries you just named.

When Turkey was Byzantine Empire and it was taken over by Turkic tribes, Georgia got cut out and left out, we were always the Eastern gate of Christianity and Eastern gate of Europe, the word Caucasian comes from Georgians, Europe starts at the borders of Georgia.

It IS a transcontinental country, with the political, societal, historical, geographical ties to Europe and people there DON’T identify as Asians. Well, I don’t know of lot of blue eyed, blond Asians and 6 out of my 8 grandparents are blonde, blue eyed, with one of them having violet eyes.

So… You can say we are transcontinental country, but comparing Georgian to those god forgotten countries is totally new level, I’ve never heard.

Azerbaijan is also Muslim, Georgia is Christian and has always fought against the Turkic Tribes in our territory and has maintained it’s identity.

Azerbaijan once used to be a Christian nation too, but just like modern day Turkey, they got influenced and affected by Turkic tribes, Georgia fought against their influence and survived its identity, it is still a transcontinental country, but we strongly relate to Eastern Europe rather than Asia, because we don’t have much in common with those Asian regions and countries, unlike Eastern Europe.
