Should I feel insecure that a man I am dating is much of a party animal than I am?

He had farewell party with his friends and parents yesterday and he sent me some videos and even though he is much older than me, he had fun like I have not had for quite a long time and he seems quite crazy.

I kinda feel insecure that I am younger but not so crazy 🤣🤣🤣

Maybe he will want to party all the time?

I mean he is a serious man but seems to love partying as well.

For me I love nothing more than lazy days in my bed.

I gotta be honest my version of "crazy party" now a days is breaking out the catnip with the rescue kittens. I've dated people that were into the party scene. I tried to overlook it. It never worked out that way. Kept coming back to thinking, wow... I'm so glad I'm too old for that. If that's all that wrong with him... suppose it could be worse, right?

absolutely nothing wrong with not being a party animal!! i hate parties sooo much and would much rather stay in bed watching a movie. partying is not in everyone’s blood. as long as its not actually affecting ur relationship ur totally fine in my opinion.

That's a lot of anxiety over someone you've recently met and that hasn't happened yet. You haven't had time to see if being in a relationship might want him to not go out as much and hang with you.

Worst case he's not right for you. You are allowed to say I want to find someone that will like similar things to me. Or if you like him enough it's also ok for you to compromise and go out more. Let things pan out a little before you potentially what if' yourself out of a good relationship.
