Basically he's playing games. He knows you like him, but since you rejected him, he's doing the same to you as revenge and to string you along.

And yeah, he might genuinely like you, but since you both played games with each other, you'll never know now.

For the sake of your sanity and emotions, I suggest you leave him alone, or he'll just string you along and keep hurting you.
