Are there question that are too much for text?

This one girl I’m texting asked me a question that I was pretty deep for a text response, so I told her this is difficult to answer over text.

I don’t really enjoy writing long texts that seem like essays I find it exhausting.

Was I being rude or do I have a point? Can anyone relate?

So, the basic rules are this, or at least these are my basic rules when it comes to texting. Honestly, text is just for sort messages and responses and most the text with someone you are dating should be about making plans for the next time you two will get together. So, if she is asking this complicated question just to say it's easier to answer with phone call because it is a complicated. If she does want or will not call, then forget it.

I also can't stand writing long paragraphs. I prefer to keep my messages short and sweet. I don't like to talk over text message.
