I texted him too much! I need to reverse the damage!

Alright...I really like this guy a lot we went to elementary and middle school together then I run into him again a good 10 years later and we start talking. We hung out a few times and talked...then I messed up...I texted him too much! I realized I did it and so didn't text him at all the next day. Then today I sent him a message with some info about a job he wanted. Then I stuck my foot in my mouth again by saying sorry about the other day I know I probably came off crazy. He said it's OK I've been busy my Dad was in town all day yesterday but then nothing at all after that. What's going on here? He told me last week that he is crazy about me so maybe it won't look so bad? (fingers crossed) Anyway my question is-is it done and I need to just give up? Or do you people think that there is a chance he may actually still be interested?

I think you should just have patience.. If the guy likes you, he'll see that you are sending him texts every day, at that point the ball is in his court of whether or not he should escalate.. The biggest reason why people aren't patient is because it really f***s with your mind as to "whether or not they like you".. But other than that, what do you have to lose?

Texting him anything doesn't seem to be your forte because you're letting your emotions cloud your judgement. Just be who you are when you are nonchallant and yourself.. No sense making things out to be "all that bad" because he didn't text you for a day.

And as for leading -> Encourage him to do that.. Send him little reminders that you are available to hang out.. "Wow I need a break from school, these finals f***ing suck!".. Etc..

Relax doll, if he likes you he likes you. You texting him won't change that. Just let it go. You're over analyzing everything to death.

Just relax and back off a bit. No need to give up, he's not going to lose interest because you texted him.

If he likes you, its because of who you are, not how much you text. If you can't be authentically you, then he isn't worth your time.
