How many times were you rejected (in terms of relationship) and how did you got over it?

I personally have been rejected by 5 men till now.

I appreciate that they were kind enough to reject me politely but I was still in pain for few days after getting rejected.

Most painful experience was when one guy who rejected me got into relationship with one of my good friend in less then a week. Turns out his man was flirting with me and her at same time and when I told her this she accused me of trying to break their relationship.

More than I care to admit. Put it this way: I've been rejected WAY more times than I've had a guy interested in me if that says anything.

It's a part of life. Yes, it hurt and made me feel like crap, unattractive, and unwanted.

I just moped about, cried, and complained until I finally moved on and told myself there's a reason it didn't work out. And yes, eventually I did get over being rejected... some guys took longer to get over than others, but I did.

About 500 times. Which wouldn't be so bad had I gotten at least 1 yes. I mean I got close a couple times. I had a couple women say she was dating some other guy. But then when that relationship ended she became gay instead. So apparently she's rather try her own team than me.😆 Yeah that didn't hurt my self esteem at all.😞😆 and one woman actually did say yes and then when it got close to the date she changed her mind.🤔😆

How did I get over it? I accepted being single as my life. Closed the dating door behind me, locked it, and threw away the key. Now I just live like it doesn't exist. Out of sight out of mind I guess you could say.

I'll probably catch hell for saying this, but I've been rejected by numerous women, as a potential boyfriend, but whenever she tells me she's not interested in me that way, I'll usually try to serve her in some way, whether it be as a non sexual sugar daddy or as a personal servant, etc.

I can only think of one guy whose ever fully rejected me, and that was back in childhood. I was crazy into him more than anyone I had ever met so that pain felt like thousands of men rejected me although it was just him (that I recall). Now… I can think of a few who liked me but eventually lost interest in me. And I’ve also been broken up with before but I don’t think thats necessary in regards to this question

I think a lot of men like to do the chasing so I don’t ask men out. Actually the one man I did ask out years ago said no😹 so I technically have a 100% rejection rate of me asking men since I have never asked anyone else out. But I can’t take it too personally because I’ve said no to many guys as well
