What should I say to her?

So there’s this really beautiful girl who works at my favorite wing spot. I placed an order today and went to go pick it up. When I got my order, there was a heart shape next to it.

I want to talk to her and ask her for her number but I have no idea how to go about it. When you really like someone it can be awkward and I don't want to mess it up.

How should I go about this? What do you think I should say?

Dude. Picking up on the server is always tricky and kind of hard. Women servers get their kindness misinterpreted ALL the time. Having said that, the heart is kind of cute and since women read body language like ten times better than most men she probably can sense your “interested” vibe.


This is soooo easy. Slick as ice and easy to slip into a conversation casually. Simply order again in a few days. (Not right away or it seems a little weird) then when you go to pick up your order speak to her. Mention his this is one of your favorite food places, next to __. (Pick a decent first date spot) and tell her (Don’t ask - TELL) how much you would love to take her there sometime. You’ll know by her reaction if she’s liking the idea and if so, grab a pen, write down your number, and confidently hand it to her. If she declines (“I have a boyfriend” or a empty “Oh, okay, I’ll check that place out sometime.”) then you just keep on the charm, be polite and thankful, and casually walk out and go.


Next time you see her you can soft pitch it a second time by asking if she ever went to that spot. She will have had some time to think about it and a second chance to agree to go if she’s really interested and you just caught her off guard the first time. That has been my play in the past and it’s worked well.
