My boyfriend says it, but he's my boyfriend. He also says I'm the first girl he's been fully head-over-heels in love with... but that's out of two other people so it's pretty reasonable.

You'd be surprised how often guys date average looking girls. We love to pretend like we're shallow and have high standards but most guys would give it a shot with an average looking girl because they seek affection above all else.
So if you look anything like that profile picture I can easily rank you as the most beautiful girl a guy has ever dated. For me personally You'd be tied for first place for example and that's not a flirt just a statement
On the first date he is going exclusively on looks. Could be true that you are the most physically beautiful woman he has thus far encountered. However I doubt he can full know the inner person in such a short period of time. For me, I look for the inner woman more than the exterior, but hey - I'm over 60 YOA.

You may not be your most beautiful person. But that doesn't mean you aren't his most beautiful person.
Also doesn't mean he won't say this line to the next person he loves in the future.
Sometimes a compliment is true to the complimenter but feels fake to the complimented.
Sometimes beautiful words are beautiful words and that's all they need to be.
Assuming he's telling the truth, it means he genuinely loves you and nobody can replace you. :)
Think about it- he is saying you are the highest quality person he's dated. These words hold a very deep meaning.
However, don't be lured in by him if he appears flaky, unreliable, or wants sex right away. You as a person must value your own body first and not let yourself get used.

He didn't say you are the most beautiful girl he has ever seen; only that you are the most beautiful girl he has ever dated. If he is an average guy that is not much of a compliment. Half of the guys can't even get a date and if they it is a fat chick and not a pretty young thing.
It means that his idea of a relationship is based upon looks and when that changes so will his intentions. He is dating you because you look good and you look better than the other girls he dated that at the time also looked good. At that time he probably told them the same thing.
Well when someone compliments you just say thank you don't try to know more because it might ruin that moment. But ofc be careful just cuz he said that it should not be ticket to hv sex with u.
For me personally, it's a red flag. It's the type of comment narcs make in the love-bombing phase or somethjng players say. It's cringy too. It's a turn off.
I would think that is too good to be true, because there could be a certain trait about me that attracts him but to over exaggerate and say I am "the most beautiful girl" would make me doubt his sincerity in wanting a serious relationship more, as it could be a way to get closer to you more and move on faster in the relationship. And that sentence alone, shows that his top priority is looks and physical beauty
