Should being single above a certain age be considered a red flag?

From my own experience, someone who is still single above the age of 40 should be a red flag. Unless the person really didn't start looking for love in their youth, there's really no legitimate reason why someone who wants marriage would stay single for that long. It could either mean they are too picky or have problems getting along with other people

To be fair i say I want marriage all the time but don't put as much effort as I should, the motivation just isn't there so I can see myself in my 40s being single lol

Ever occurred to you, some people who are single in their 40's were once married but their wife or husband died and the person has chosen to stay single.

Terri Irwin has stayed single all these years after her husband Steve died.

Its a red flag to choose to stay single. Because humans are designed to want love. It could mean they just dont want commitment, dont need to feel loved- which is unusual, have some type of major trauma issues, dont value having a family or because they are too picky

Single motherhood is not a red flag unless it is planned. If you have a kid where it is an accidental pregnancy and the father is nowhere to be found, then yes it should be a red flag

It's not a red flag at all. You clearly have never lost a wife or husband to know the pain and heartache that comes with it. You also don't seem to have children to understand that for some people they don't want to bring random men around them.

You also claim single motherhood is a red flag again you don't take into consideration that some single mothers are out there because the father of their baby has die and you also don't take into consideration that some single mothers are out there because the pregnancy was the result of a rape you also don't take into consideration that there is medical evidence where someone can go their entire pregnancy without ever knowing that they were pregnant

You seem to be the only one with such a negative mindset for why someone is single after their turn 40

Death is a very rare exception. Death does not commonly occur. You would only over exaggerated death as an excuse because you know you're a very flawed person yourself

Rape is not a common reason for pregnancy either. Usually its a immoral woman who sleeps around recklessly

You need to be educated because pregnancy happens from rape far more than you know. You also say death is a rare exception. Well go tell that to the millions of people around the world who are single mothers because their partner died. There was a woman not far from where I live who was left a single mother because some lowlife murdered her husband when he was getting breakfast while on a break from work made headline news when it happened.

You need to stop bloody looking down on someone just because they are single when you damn well don't know their circumstances. If anyone is a red flag it is people like you who saying crap like this.
