Well, yes this happened to me.
I recently joined a dating app, matched with some girls, and one of them asked me to meet, i went there, we just met and were just walking, and a girl came to us and asked if would like to go to this lounge/bar or whatever that was.. (that's normal here by the way) so we both went inside and ordered usuals and we had a couple of drinks.. but the bill was too much.. like 4 times more than normal.. everything was over priced.. (the money wasn't the issue) and also she was disconnected from me too.. no eye contact and stuff like that. I paid the bill i invited her to my room, and and did what we had to.. lol. But the point is. Later that day, i asked a couple of questions and she told me that girls now a days doing this, that they join that lounge/ bar, match guys on datting app, and they plan everything, from the exact point where they gonna meet the guy, and that some other girl, will ask them to come to their lounge, so that the guy won't have a clue, and they will charge extra.. and the guy have to pay because the girl won't have that much money.. AND AND THE GIRL THAT WE MATCHED HAS A SET COMMISSION ON THE BILL TOO.. LOL. WTF

Man, I wish that was the scam they were running on dating apps in my area.
Lol.. dude, you guys are getting distracted just because i invited her in my room.. (i shouldn't have added it).. they do not let you have s*ex. unless you're a that guy😉.. their only motive is to make you spend a lot.. so that they can have more commission on that..
But you still got what you wanted, right?
It's not about me. It's about the racket.. the girl told me that before meeting me, she already dated 3 guys.. and she didn't even let them touch herself, coz it was first date.. in just one day. She scammed 4 guys.. one in the morning, one in the afternoon, one in the evening... I asked her why aren't you drunk than? She yold me that she only had vodka shots, which were in reality water.. just water..

The one they tried on me wasn't a date, but two girls and a guy came up to me in a park in Shanghai and asked me to take their picture with their phone, as people do. They then said (all this in excellent English) they were tourists from another part of China and that they were going to a tea ceremony and asked me to go with them. I mentioned that I was headed to a museum and they said it was closed that day (it wasn't, and I had fallen for that in Bangkok so figured as much). So I declined.
I had read about this, where they invite you to a tea parlor and then disappear and it turns out your tea is $300 a pot (in yuan) and some big guy insists you pay.
Yeah.. it's all over the world than. We are F*ucke*d.. lol
