Terrified of first date?

First I'm not sure it's a date haha, he asked me to come to his concert and we've never talked before in real life but have been texting everyday since end of December. He messaged me first and always writes long paragraphs

My friend told me he likes smart women and well I don't come across as that at all in real time because I have a hard time putting my thoughts into words. I'm so scared he's going to dislike me. What can I do

Girl don't even stress! Just be your natural self - he already seems into you for who you are.

For reals though, I totally get being nervous meeting someone new in person after only texting. But he clearly wants to get to know YOU, not some made up persona.

A couple things that might help ease the butterflies:

- Remember he's probably nervous too! We all are on first dates.

- It's okay if you pause to think! Silence isn't always awkward. He'll understand if words escape you sometimes.

- Smile and make eye contact. Body language can convey friendliness where words might fail in the moment.

- And most of all, have fun! Relax into enjoying the concert together. Chances are you'll warm up over time.
