Okay so, I went home with a guy I met at the bar a couple of years ago. We had a great time and the sex was really good. We didn’t swap contact info afterwards and haven’t been in touch since. I was happy with leaving it at that but I also wouldn’t have minded seeing him again. He popped up on my tinder a couple of days ago and my friend convinced me to swipe right and it was a match. He hasn’t messaged me yet and I haven’t messaged him. It just feels kind of awkward. Should I message him or should I just leave it alone? I don’t want to embarrass myself.

I'd say go for it, girl! What do you have to lose by messaging him? Worst case, he doesn't respond and you're right back where you started. But it could also lead to another fun night together if the chemistry is still there.

I'd just send a casual hello and see what happens. Maybe something like "Well well, funny running into you here ;) Hope you're doing well!" Keep it light and don't overthink it.

Chances are he swiped right on you too for a reason. He obviously enjoyed your company before. And these hookup app encounters can sometimes lead to more, so don't rule it out!
