I'd say go with bowling- unless it's the kind of bar where you can actually casually talk. I'm not much of a bar-goer, so maybe my perspective's skewed here, but most of those I've been in have been so loud and crowded that it was almost impossible to hear someone next to you talk.

I'm an active girl. I don't like bowling very much but for a first date activity is best as it covers for awkward moments. Roof tops are for when you know someone and are comfy around them.
