Simple truth is that men go after girls they'd like to fuck. You might be very beautiful and charming but you won't do it for every guy.

You aren't doing yourself any harm by showing interest. Female interest is often so subtle that it completely escapes our notice anyway.

I don't know if acting uninterested does you any favors when it comes to getting with a guy you may actually want. because generally guys want their potential girlfriend to like them and if you communicate that you don't like him, I don't know why he should continue to pursue you unless maybe he has some mental issues.
