Why do people assume they’re ghosted when someone doesn’t immediately reply?

I’m sorry that people are busy…. People have LIVES. They can’t respond in 5 minutes all the time. Especially when you know someone’s at work, school, sleeping, etc and blow them up witn texts that aren’t important.

If you need to get ahold of someone over something important that’s one thing. But to BLOW someone up with shit. It gets annoying and sometimes you have to start ignoring someone for a while. Untim you have time to read it. Especially if it’s just links to videos or photos or random comments.

To these people, it is literally inconceivable that something more important than THEM exists in your life.

They probably have abandonment issues and have little to no control over the way their brain reacts to perceived rejection or abandonment. The simplest solution is to decide if this is a deal breaker, or if you are interested enough in the relationship to help her work through the issues. Getting mad will not make this behavior stop by the way.
