What is it with girls being so proud they make more money than most guys?

It's not the first time I've heard a girl spouting off how much they make and how they don't need a guy because they make more than most guys anyways. 🙄 please... for starters, myself and I also think most guys don't really even care how much a woman makes as long as they actually have a job. This girl was talking about how she's an engineer and makes 300k/year... yeah right, not at 30 years old. Most engineers make 150k tops and that's after they've been doing it for a while. Then again you do have insecure guys that are ashamed when their significant other makes more, but that's their problem. Opinions?

All for women making bank. That way they might eventually come around to typical guy thinking where what she does matters very little and who she is a whole lot.

End of the day most people want companionship. If women being rich helps them pick better partners, great! Time for the wealthy millionaire ladies to start picking up the burger flipper with a heart of gold.

What girl is making more money than a guy in the same job and industry? The glass ceiling is still alive and well according to all major reseach and news. It sounds like you’re talking about guys who are dating out of their professional league, which isn’t a salary problem, it’s an ego issue. Take a more realistic assessment of the type of gal who is right for you.

Girls should be proud, as guys are. Most aren’t independent. If you want a successful, Alpha girl, don’t be surprised when she sometimes acts like an Alpha guy. Most guys just want sub eye-candy and can’t stand being challenged by someone as self-reliant, smart, or successful as they are.
