1 yIt depends on the guy. For some underdeveloped male personalities, they may immediately jump to the conclusion... "She's desperate". And assume they are gonna "get some". Try not to get involved with the man-babies.
For any normal well adjusted guy, he'd probably be really flattered and rattled by the "outside the box" behavior. He'd probably appreciate the refreshing change in behavior from a woman.
But here's something that happened to me recently where I flat out refused to date a woman who asked me out. I have a friend who had a girlfriend. Both mature adults. He broke up with her because he didn't want a long term commitment with a single mom with kids as he'd already been through the family phase of his life.
Anyway, I didn't even know her that well but she sent a male friend of hers to tell me she thought I was handsome and she wanted to know if I wanted to date her. I told the guy she's my friend's (recent) ex and dating her didn't feel comfortable for me. The truth is that, plus I'm not really attracted to her, plus she's a bit unstable and drinks way too much. She screwed up 2 ways.
1.) Uncool to try and date your ex's buddies right after a breakup.
2.) She didn't ask me herself. She sent a friend to ask like a high school kid would do. Very immature.
She moved on to another buddy of my friend with the same response. And finally she found a new guy somewhat down the social ladder within a few weeks. She just didn't want to be alone. My instincts proved to be correct.
My point here is that there can be valid reasons for a guy saying no. And some guys will say yes for the wrong reasons. But I think the majority of guys would get a big smile on their face and say yes. At least to a date. Just go for it.

630 opinions shared on Dating topic. Absolutely love woman who ask me out on a date❤️🤗
For me that's the only way I know absolutely 100% sure that she really likes me for who I am instead of me being the best choice among all the guys that are available to choose from at that moment.
More woman should make the first move because it's annoying how much time I wasted investing in a woman who simultaneously were dating other dudes as well10 Reply

1 yAbsolutely! It’s perfectly normal and people who only sit around waiting on who approaches them limit their options because sometimes the kind of people approaching aren’t the ones you want.
It’s a risk you can be rejected and sometimes someone isn’t my type or if I’m taken. But I’m never a ass about it unless someone’s persistent and won’t leave me alone. Most people aren’t like that though. If you like someone just make a move before someone else does or someone else catches their eye.
10 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. Most guys would have no problem with this. Of course, not every guy is going to accept - you would be better off asking guys who have shown some interest in you prior, so, not strangers.
This isn't something that's going to change the dynamic of a relationship going forward, so don't worry about that.
Set whatever boundaries and expectations you are comfortable with up-front, but otherwise, it's perfectly fine.
00 Reply3.9K opinions shared on Dating topic. One did once. It was flattering, but unfortunately I don't roll that way.
Another female friend publicly indicated (very awkwardly) that she didn't want anyone else joining us if we met up for brunch or lunch or a walkabout. We all looked at her because it was a very odd thing to say. Again, I don't roll that way, so I made my excuses and left, never to see her again.00 Reply- 3.5K opinions shared on Dating topic.
1 yI've been asked out by a woman several times. Perfectly normal.

1 yAnyone- even if they were in a relationship or were not interested- would still be flattered. There is really no downside aside from getting a "no thanks".. May I ask what type of date you had in mind? I ask because different ambience sets different expectations. Sexually if it's just for coffee very low. For lunch, that's the only tough one so play it by ear. Dinner, esp. a a luxe restaurant much higher than coffee, dinner in a restaurant in a hotel, wear lingerie. Dinner in a hotel restaurant where he currently has a room bring whatever you want to have on hand for a full and fun evening

1 yAs for every journey it starts with one small step & in life if you never try you will never know & if you like someone you shouldn’t be afraid to tell let them know.
As for dating if a woman asked me out I would be delighted & honored & I would go on a date with her if she asked me out.
10 Reply 'would like the opposite sex there' lol!
I'm sure whoever you would be expressing this to would much rather have you like THEM there more specifically

lol I would hope but maybe nowadays I just wanna kind of have fun and no expectations and no big to do. I just kinda wanna go out and do good things movies food and I kinda don’t wanna do it alone.
1 yAny man who won't be happy with this is not the one for you anyway.
Of course girls ask guys out, and they should. I would be happy about that and would make an extra effort to get to know her better.
10 ReplyRight now, I would have to turn her down. Being married and all but I would have LOVED it back then. I find it insanely attractive that she wants me to know she's interested in me. Just thinking about it sends good vibes

1 yI think women do this when they are out of options.

See the misconception of what an actual option is meaning they have potential to be something. That’s what we’re looking for. Not a one night stand not somebody to just be an F buddy but someone to actually be in a relationship with and that’s why we started trying to go ahead on and take thelead on certain stuff

I don't think it has any real effect on the dynamic of the relationship.

1 yPlease do. Takes a lot of the pressure off us to do it. Plus you girls don’t have to deal with girls not sure if you only want them for their bodies or are creeps or not. there's that extra hurdle guys gotta overcome when we approach

1 yI always take it as a compliment, I’m more interested in men now that I’ve gotten older but the right women could persuade me otherwise.
10 Reply I like introverts. i like to think if she asks me out, she's not that much of an introvert
