When you say regularly are you talking hourly or daily? Are you giving your team enough time to handle the issue before your next email? Remember that opening, reading and answering emails is just more work. So the question is, is the email value added or just busywork for someone?

If it is associated with the smooth operation of the company, no. It shows interest and knowledge of the operation. If you are sending personal information to them, then it's a no-no. Regardless of your relationship with your superiors, your personal life is taboo.

Just make sure your concerns are legitimate and don;t overdo it. It may make it look like you are incapable of solving problems on your own..

Then I guess email is the only way to ask questions. I'd try bunching a few questions together so I don't flood their emails

Depends on the co-workers really. I'd be very annoyed if someone kept sending me emails, but that's just my opinion.
