I recently moved and asked my job to mail my check to my new address but it's been two months and I haven't received my paycheck. I asked my job about it and now there trying to find anything they can to fire me because they don't want to send my paychecks to my new address because they said it cost the company money to resend out checks. I don't know what to do here. I was the company's best employee and it's shocking that they will turn on me so quick over my checks.

It’s illegal for a company to withhold pay from an employee, regardless of their employment status or whether they moved. Reprinting and mailing checks is a normal business expense, and they need to pay you. Depending on your state, you may have to first file a claim with your state’s labor department before you can file a court lawsuit. Also, depending on your state, you may now be entitled to treble damages (3x the amount of the check), if you can provide proof that you were not paid on time and the company is withholding your pay. Good luck!

Go and talk to HR about it. If they don’t pay you again, take them to court.
