What do you do for a living?

I'm curious. I'll be starting my first job soon. As of now I have two offers of Software Development Engineer (with barely manageable salaries).
I've got 6 more months before I graduate. I'll be trying for other companies as well, but it'll all be in the developer domain.

I was wondering what the other G@G members do and for how many years. Whether everyone's content with their jobs, or planning for a change of careers.

Good luck with your new job. I can't say I'm content, but it pays the bills and while boring is a good company with great benefits.

I deal with MSSQL and HL7 mostly, for new customers. Think of it like software conversions specialized tech support. They also make me review technical documents or write them, cause all the genius programmers suck at that.

I am an analyst for a technology group that builds programs, tools for reporting analytics, as well as other needed items for the company I work for.
