I'm a manager and also the owner so... this is my task to fulfill, I will be the one that burns out, implodes, exploders or gets overwhelmed and stressed as fuck... just so our employees can do their job well and have it much better to be able to do it but hey, that's what we signed up for
and it's not like it happens every single day, so there's that... some days are way easier lol10
I personally would request to get paid for what I was makin up for if you do two peoples jobs you should get to peoples pay. I would find something else and put in a notice after I secured new employment if there was a problem with that.0

In my restaurant days we kept going on a cocktail of booze and caffeine for the most part, occasionally weed at the end of a shift
Most of the guys smoked, some used sex as a coping mechanism and I also had issues with solvents
The restaurant was great but the hardest work I did in my life, I work 3 times as long now but feel like I'm slacking by comparison
