If gov't pays for college debt , should everyone that went to college sue US Gov't for their college tuition from years ago?

My vote for no wasn’t to really say no to people during for their tuition to be reimbursed… but more so that no one should have tuition payed for by the gov. Part of the problem with the argument is that saying “oh the government will pay for it, the government will pay for it…” does not mean the government is actually paying for it like a private citizen would pay for it. Where does the government get its money from? The tax payers. So people suing the government to pay for their tuition really means they are suing themselves and every other citizen around them. They do also print money, but that’s another issue that we can see plainly rising working. Tons of inflation. Nothing is free in this world. So when the government tries to entice you with something for free…the first thing you should ask is “where’s the money coming?”
I think that is fair.
What about all the people who went to trade school so they wouldn't have to pay for college?
sure throw them in too
The new class of entitlement wants those people to pay too. Maybe I'll take out a $250K loan, major in Women's Studies, and then insist on the rest of society to pay off my loan for me because I can't find a job in my major that pays me a big enough salary. Seems fair. 🙄
Thank you for the MHO ❤

i don't think people should have to pay so much for college. it's incredibly expensive. there are people's lives that were ruined because of student loans. and that doesn't change that they still have that debt
