Do you think it could be beneficial to have your CV/Resume written and re-designed by an HR specialist?

I used to do this professionally before I worked in HR.
It's definitely helpful, especially if you struggle with it, but it isn't necessary.
If you've had poor success with your current resume, it's worth editing it with a professional hand. But not every recruiter is worth their salt.
Unless they can do better than you, just do it yourself.
They have online guys that will do that for a fee but most are willing to help for a much lower price or for free cause they view it as a sacred duty.
Not necessarily. There are so many online sites where you can create your resume.
Try the Howard University one. It's good.
Thanks.
Resume don't land you a job, it's your interview.
I know but before being shortlisted for a interview you need to submit your Resume and if there are many other applicants they'll obviously chose the ones who have the most experience and the most impressive Resume.
Nope that's not true... Experience, yes they will consider but not the impressivness of the resume.
I have more than 500 people working for me... I just do go with what's written in resume it's the interview that tells me who to hire
Yes if they are current. I know a person who went through one and the language scan improvements ended in a Pfizer job.
Awesome!

What they actually do is put in a ton of key words for the idiot HR software to home in on.
I would suggest taking the job description and incorporating the boldest key words into your resume.
i went on reddit and used the "sheets and giggles" resume format. the results were great, would recommend.
Yeah; that's probably a good thing to do.
unless it's a lie, it can't hurt.
