Can you get a CPT certificate and be an independent personal trainer?

I’d rather work independently then work for a gym. Because people don’t wanna hire you. I’d feel more comfortable doing that than working for a gym

You’re still gonna need a place to train you clients - unless you specifically only train clients in their own home gyms. I know an independent PT that “rents out” the gym to train his clients, he would bring in his clients to a gym where they can pay a “per visit” fee.

I’m saying I can train them in a gym, I just don’t want to work for a gym. You know how you look online for trainers? I want to work that way
