Do my parents not love me, why are they so selfish?

Firstly, this is Asia so don't tell me to move out (It will take some years), here parents DON'T LET us be independent too early.

They grounded me when I wanted to start earning at the age of 15.

Now I'm 20+

They are legit forcing me to do an unpaid internship and travel everyday for 7 f*cking hours.

7 hours is office, where I'm required to go and sit for 7 hours EVERYDAY even if there is NO WORK.

• Ironically my parents hate travelling yet putting me through this mental torture to go everyday to a different state whete I'm being treated like a free laborer.
• Boss ain't paying me a penny for my contributions when they're a huge firm that makes millions and billions.

Ironically, I'll be spending thousands every month just for travelling so far!

But my parents say they'll provide it. It's not about 'travel' money!

It's about my fucking time, I'm not being able to learn new skills as I'm chained to slavery everyday, I only come back home at night, eat, shower sleep and repeat.

Even house maids and cleaners earn more than me.

I'll rather be a part time waiter than waste my time and money on travelling half of the day.

The age of adulthood in which you have the legal rights of an adult in at least most of India is 18. You can say what you want, but unless you are in some small weird cult part of India then you have the legal right to leave whenever you feel like after 18, regardless of what your parents want. If you don't, it's because you choose not to.

It's not about the 'age 18' of moving out, this is not USA, I got grounded until I turned 18 and since I had no money, how tf am I supposed to move out? Where am I supposed to live? On the streets where we can get raped or murdered at night?

Then they paid for my college until i turned 20+ because they said, they don't want me to be independent too soon. Even if I find a job now, it won't even cover my rent, again, so I have to live unsafely on the streets to prove that I wanna move out?

But they're forcing me to work in unpaid work so that I don't gain Independence.

I just want some time to explore my commitment and I'll start earning and saving so I can move out, end of story. I don't intend to stay with them, I won't magically get a fat paycheck without exploring, learning skills and gaining experience.

You're wrong. Literally look up your country's adulthood rights laws. Just do a quick google search. Then either suck it up and deal with your situation, or grow a spine and do something about it.

Yes I'm quitting, I already arranged a meeting about this with boss. After that I'll tell them to just give me some time to figure out. But I'll secretly do other part time jobs that will allow me some time to learn skills too. Not like this unpaid work where I get NOTHING and waste 16 hours everyday.

To me, it is nonsensical and exactly opposite to USA value system. Maria get being arranged, homemaker and child producer, growth in education only to make more marketable to other families and potential husbands?
