for example, you are going for a career change. you were a supervisor in your former career. but in your new career, you are just a newly trained rookie. you are receiving orders from someone who is younger than you. it will take a certain amount of time before you reach any sort of seniority in your new career. there are younger people more experienced in this field than you are. would you have difficult feelings accepting the fact that you are being bossed around by people younger than you?
Join the military! The enlisteds are the ones who get the extensive schooling and more deeply understand the workings of the parts, while the officers are for the most part younger and run the unit. On a ship, the officers know how it all works together, but don't hold your breath waiting for them to fix the components. Some of the officers I worked for looked like kids.

Ha Ha !! We better get use to it because the younger and better trained are beginning to move into the Corporate fields. This is not family life with brother and sister order etc. This is work and ages are irrelevant as Human Resources sees it. Good luck with it...
If you're competent, yeah sure. Otherwise I'm going to actively ignore you.
