Schools don't back teachers up no more. This likely wasn't this kid's first offence but the school board insist every kid deserves an education regardless of the school's duty to provide a safe working environment for employees.

Some may argue that it was his personal property but if a teacher is ceasing your personal property it means you are disrupting class or not paying attention with that property. Teacher should have sent the kid out of class rather that tried to confiscate the device so they can learn, kid doesn't deserve the teacher's attention.

Ultimately there is no consequences, when kids meet no consequences for smaller transgressions they get worse. This is why schools have security, metal detectors and police calling out.

In the end the teacher had not taken his device. The kid picked on the wrong person. I like how that one chunky teacher didn't help. I guess she thought it would be better to see someone beaten to death. She didn't even dial 911.

To be more accurate, a BLACK man attacked an unarmed White person. Still haven't seen it on the liberal media since they like things like this. Just like the BLACK man that shot and killed an unarmed White man that was doing nothing recently too.

I think it would be reasonable and understandable if more White people started killing them. That would be more fair in society since most people don't care when Whites are attacked by Blacks.

Right, the 17 year old. He probably played it when he was supposed to pay attention. We're spoiled. I think many give their kids the tv or in this case the nintendo to keep the kid busy so they can do their own thing. But if they don't have to work for it and are just given that shit they're going to freak out if you suddenly take away their little world.

Parents are the ones who set their children up to be released into the world on their own... they child either knows how to behave in society or they don't... Yes he is getting older and should know better but obviously he wasn't taught how to handle things and uses violence... so now because he wasn't taught he is gonna go to jail and probably only go down hill from there... If you give a child a good base they usually grow up into decent people if not they grow up messed up...

Yes I heard. Distractions are a big problem in today's society (social media, mass media, games, phones, etc.) Anger and self control is another problem. Discipline is hard work.

Not necessarily if you put the work in very early. You have about 6 full years to home train your child on what's acceptable inside the house and outside the house.

I agree there's no reason a kid can't for instance have a phone in class as long as its on silent and they aren't using it during class. You give them the privilege then if and when they abuse it you take the privilege away which is a lesson in itself.
