Still need a GED if you want any kind of negotiation in your military contract. Otherwise you just get stuck as cook or janitor or whatever "needs of the army" slot they don't want to put a qualified candidate into.
When you say you did "great"... what were your line scores?
i got
43% general science
68% arithmetic reasoning
68% word knowledge
100% paragraph comprehension
33% mathematics knowledge
75% electronic information
54% automotive information
31% mechanical comprehension
95% assembling objects
Yeah... you should definitely pursue more education
Those also aren't percentages there chief. Those are the rough line scores, and those go over 100.

Here's a chart with the various jobs (MOS) in the military and the scores they require. You'll see that a great many of them require line scores over 100.
i don’t want a specialized job or anything i just want to protect and defend the country i love i would prefer infantry or something on the field
Infantry IS a specialized job we don't just have meat puppets walking into battle FFS. I'm not sure you scored high enough for infantry to be honest. Combat science involves math, and your 33 isn't instilling a lot of faith they'd let you do that.
I dropped out to start working full time and never looked back. I had mine own apartment and a car at 16, so it can work out.
