I've been working as an English teacher until I get work related to my education, but as I am not actually a trained/educated teacher this has been a bit of a challenge for me. Let's just say there are many girls in the class I teach who have way too many hormones for their age, which by the way is 6th grade, and I've heard the horror stories of these scenarios being a teacher, I know the fragility of this situation and I feel like I'm walking on eggshells. "Just tell the principal/administration", yeah, done that. A measly eye-to-eye talk later between them and students and nothing's changed. This is the second school where this occurs as well so I'm a bit fed up.

do, as I do...
be 100% clear and open, with the school, with parents and with any institution, if you have certifications of any sort
and then be clear with students, that you won't be doing any personal communication online, except for school and in groups, in which some parents will be joining too and this should be enough to easy any "legal worry" you might have
now, specifically to the attention from minors, that will never go away... there's always going to be someone, somewhere... that is going to be into these things, but this should not be a worry either, you're the adult and you know is not right, so it should not be awkward for you at all

It has nothing to you, they will try it on anyone, set strict boundaries, as they will most likely resent you and their psyche will be damaged if you cross any line.
So, don’t even think of it, any more than you would think of a 4-5 year old child innocently liking you.
I once taught basic Chinese to 16-17 year old boys, who obviously had a crush on me. I set a boundary and never allowed myself to engage back.
As a teaching major who also had crushes on my teachers. You simply remain professional. You can joke about it and laugh but always direct the focus back to what is being taught. Is it hard for you? Then you're the problem if young girls are attractive to you.

And some men think teenage girls are not attracted to older men. Just shows how stupid some people are.
