Do you believe you have to look a certain way to get hired for high paying jobs or succeed in business networking?

That is what many articles I’ve read suggest about the job market. Less than 12% of employees are willing to hire a fat person to work in their company. And if somebody is fat, they might be disadvantaged at social networking and social friendship events, both of which might be needed to give them connections to opportunity and power. An example is I know a 300 pound women who married an extremely popular guy and she used her connection to his friends to start a specialty niche cultural business that required dozens if not hundreds of suppliers which she met through her husbands job network. I’m evading details cause I don’t want to be seen as gossiping or commenting on her weight if anyone knows her. She is wealthy now and highly successful but it’s because she succeeded in networking with others.

To survive in the modern world looks matter to a certain degree. If you're looking to get a job, then i suspect looks are very important as it shows that you are someone who is health conscious and someone who takes care of oneself.

If you can pay cash or always produce the goods/results then that's going further than looks
