- The company is tiny but great. The CEO is a very good hearted person and he aided me in my escape from the dictatorship controlled shithole, although it's more of a 0 interest loan than something given to me. I owe it to him to make money
- Germany claims to have a severe deficiency in personnel in all areas including in IT, where I work at. Pensioners have been heard how they say "our young whippersnappers don't wanna work. I'm on pension and I work part time to make it through". I applied to 50 jobs and got only 1 job offer (aside from my current employer).
Since I have discovered swing trading I aim to quit the job market.
I don't like how I have to be Mr Perfect (and even Mr Perfects are being rejected for reasons unknown), look like X, dress like Y, can't have certain characteristics or interests or whatever and can't freely choose to become an Anarchistic Iranian Transgirl with vibrantly colored hair and tattoos on my body (if I really want to) or else nobody will hire me and i'll be unable to pay rent. The brokers simply don't care. I can be all that and so much more and I can make money with swing trading contracts.

The job I have is one that I worked incredibly hard for over 17 years. working my way to gain experience and seniority I have had a few jobs at different companies to get here and now i get to lead , be the decision maker , to motivate and manage a team. I am exactly where I want to be and never plan to leave until I retire. There were times I never thought I would get here and almost gave up and settled but I reached down deep and found the energy to keep pushing as I’m no quitter. I am fortunate I know but I remain humble.
i get paid well, everyone likes me, i'm doing well, i like my boss they are very easy to get along with, i love my job it doesn't feel like a chore to me, i'm comfortable, toxic people left and we don't have anymore room there for them and it will not be tolerated anymore

I work a main job but I had several side hustles. My primary job used to be awesome but ever since we got acquired we have been given less and less and less. I don’t like it but I know it could be even worse.
So I am staying it while working my butt off on a side hustle that has grown exponentially since I started it 14 months ago. It’s great side money and also a cushion just in case something happens with my main job.
For you people looking to be entrepreneurs. That’s a great idea but the beginning almost always 3x more work than you expected. Always challenges and problems you don’t expect.
Don’t quit your job but work your side business on your free time.
Short answer: I am using my current job to see about another opportunity.
Longer explanation: I am currently a school custodian. I was going for substitute teacher, but it is too close to summer so I picked custodian to have work over the summer. In September I will be off my probationary period and allowed to switch to substitute teacher.
I plan to be a substitute teacher for 6 months. I am using that time to sub at various school levels to see if I want to be a teacher. If so, my school district will pay for me to go back to school to be a teacher.
Finishing up my last 6 years to a pension and the health insurance is great in the interim. Pay sucks, but I'm closer to home than my last job. Most of the people I work with are fucktarded, but nobody is actively trying to kill me anymore.
Just a series of tradeoffs I guess.
Hmmm. My reasons, it's 10min or less from my home. So I can bike to work too. I get paid 45 and a half but only work 40 hours. But it also has been very slow work days. I've been here 18 years. I have been working on getting a new job, which has been taking a lot longer than it should have.
Work from home (in my case across the globe) good pay and benefits, extended holidays, maternity leave…
in all honesty, I get paid a lot to pretty much be under the radar most of the time so I’m not even complaining.
The pay is good and I can’t get it elsewhere as good as how I have it now. I also do like what my job entails. It’s extremely fun, rewarding and interesting.
If it weren’t for those two things, I’d have left because of the people.Actually just took a new job, but will probably stay on casual here. Get paid well for very little work most days, good people and just very relaxed. Only leaving because I want more of a challenge and the associated pay raise
I Luke what I'm doing for a living and I dreamt of becoming a teacher so that's why I'm doing IT.
Because I own the businesses I'm currently operating and I cherish being my own boss.

Stress can be high, but I love it. I love the pressure and reaching the deadline.
The pay and benefits are excellent, and I am good at my job.
