How many fake people are online?

I realized that over 40% of the people I googled lied on their LinkedIn profile.

I don’t believe in gossip so I won’t ruin their reputation but the ones that worked at searchable jobs were over 40% faking their job and some faked their education too.

I honestly don't see the point in faking your linkedin page because when you do go to interviews these days, the recruitment company has extensive background checks and ai systems to control the reality of once online content. With that said, I can imagine people glorifying some of the things they've done or job titles to look smarter and sharper. Although it may be unethical, in today's work market you need to stand out and hence glorifying a job title for what it was or is and/or adding how extensive their work duties are, can help them go further in a recruitment process and there I believe way more than 40% do. Question is how well they are to convince the recruiter no matter what comes out in background check and references, that they've done exactly what they've stated on their linkedin and/or CV. Some do get away with it, others not so much and hence won't go to far in life.

Yes, there is a couple on here, who are Catfish and one portrays himself to be a female when in fact he is a male. Well, I guess he knows I am against Catfish or Fake people, that is why they block me?
