Took an IQ test that wasn’t that exhaustive because it didn’t test a variety of genius abilities.

That's not exactly what IQ tests are examining. Geometric shape patterns are used to measure eductive capacity. The idea is to present the subject with a sense of disorder and determine if they can find what is not obvious through investigation and analysis to determine what has changed and what relationships exist within seemingly chaotic information without language interference and cultural bias. This is basically a way to gauge of fluid intelligence relative to others. That is, it is measuring your ability to solve problems, reason, and think flexibly. If you performed poorly, then your have a low level of fluid intelligence.
That's a very good question. The evidence is that whatever is measured by IQ tests is real. IQ scores are strongly correlated with academic and career success. Intelligence overtakes experience after a couple of years on any job -- the smart person with two years experience will outperform someone of average intelligence with ten years experience.
Recognizing patterns goes maybe up to 100, above it's too abstract to find a pattern in those graphics. More advanced IQ test have question for EQ estimation, isometric figures you have to determine in 3 view perspective and other funny stuff. Graphics are just a part of it.
Those tests are developed since more than 100 years and I think with exception of rare extreme autists who can overperform at some specific test type but suck in others, are those test accurate.
No. It’s one of many. There are also different types of pattern tests and a person can be fab at one and horrible at another.
Recognizing patterns is just one aspect of intelligence. A comprehensive IQ test should measure various cognitive abilities such as verbal reasoning, memory, problem-solving, and spatial awareness. Limiting an IQ assessment to pattern recognition alone doesn't capture the full spectrum of intelligence. Assessments should be holistic, addressing multiple facets of intelligence to provide a more accurate reflection of an individual's cognitive abilities. Thus, while pattern recognition is important, it should not be the sole measurement. Always approach IQ tests as one of many tools available for assessing cognitive strengths and potential.
You’re smart enough to understand this! Thanks! ☺️🙏🏻
It’s the AI, so yeah.
@SofaKingsMart AI is showing its superiority to humans 💯🤫
@babygirl_s
do you realize AI doesn't have a mind of its own? AI, as it exists today, can not think for itself in the way that humans do, but follows the instructions and patterns derived from its training data and algorithms and re-hashes material produced by humans and plays it back to us

Seems like you took an improper test. The only IQ test I am familiar with that takes a proper assessment of mental performance is the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale. They just recently released the fifth edition of the test last year. I would recommend that one if you want a better understanding if your mental strengths and weaknesses.
There may be other good tests, but I don't know about them.
No way to be sure if it’s a good test
I think as people we have a tendency to want to pigeon hole people based on a pre determined measurement of some kind. In doing so we often overlook people who might be exceptionally good at certain things but because they’re weak in others they get passed over.
No IQ is a controversial measurement it probably is at best a representation that you speak the language of that test and your ability to take a test. It's usefulness for intelligence measurement is vastly overrated compared to the data.
from the couple of tests they made me take... this part was the most interesting one for me, and also a lot of fun...
IQ Tests should also include ‘common sense’ since intellect could be judged by many facets.
so you think the official "IQ test" isn't smart enough to capture your genius? xD that's called the Dunning Krüger effect.
Not to demean Albert Einstein but if everyone is a genius then no one is a genius.
Nobody came to this world without a talent. Everyone has a natural skill/talent. The issue is first finding it and then focusing on it.
which test did you take
they're expensive
and they're kinda accurate
just give you an idea
